Vintage Book Down Down The Mountain From 1961
This is a vintage hardcover Illustrated children's book from 1950 called petunia. It was written and illustrated by Roger Duvoisin. The book is part of a weekly reader children's book club series. In the book Petunia. The silly goose was strolling in a meadow then suddenly she saw something she had never seen before... a book. Along with the text of the story are illustrations to go with it that range from black and white ink drawings to full-color illustrations.
This is a vintage hardcover Illustrated children's book from 1965 called Part-time Dog. It was written by Jane Thayer and the pictures and illustrations are by Seymour Fleischmann. The book is part of a weekly reader children's book club series. The story is based on one that was first published in Humpty Dumpty magazine for little children. In the book, a little brown dog with a wagging tail didn't know where his home was. As the children were going to school, they said hello brownie while patting its head. The dog continues to find its way home, but everybody just says go home doggy. Along with the text in the story are colorful illustrations.

This book is part of a weekly reader children's book club series. Mitty and Matty were two little cats. One of them dreamed that when they grew up they would be in a circus. The other one wanted to be an elephant. They go to the circus and meet a monkey who agrees to help them and puts them in a cage. A wise dog comes along and sees that they are not what they seem.
This is a vintage hardcover Illustrated children's book from 1962 called Fly Away at the Air Show. The book was written by Leone Adelson and the pictures and illustrations are by Andree Golbin. This book is part of a series of Wonder Book easy readers stories that were carefully written to keep the young reader's interest high. Told in a simple open style with a strong rhythm that adds enjoyment both to reading aloud and silent reading. Fly Away was a new little red airplane that is only as big as a penny. Today is the big day of the air show and fly away wants to compete.
